New Party opens Narlıdere district office in İzmir

The New Party has inaugurated its Narlıdere district headquarters in İzmir, marking a significant step in its organizational expansion. The opening ceremony drew party officials, including İzmir Provincial Chairman Çağatay Güç, and local members, underscoring the party's grassroots engagement.

Güç articulated the party's vision for the new office, stating it would serve as more than just a political building. "This place will not just be a party building," he declared. "It will be a place where our youth, women, retirees, workers, and tradespeople can easily knock on the door, explain their troubles, and express their opinions." He stressed that the New Party's doors and hearts are open to the nation, positioning the party as a beacon of hope to steer Turkey out of its current economic and political predicament.

Provincial Deputy Chairman Ednan Arslan echoed this sentiment, framing the party's establishment as a response to a perceived "absolute power" and "absolute sultan" mentality. He contrasted this with the New Party's core belief: "Sovereignty unconditionally belongs to the nation." Arslan recounted the party's electoral achievements, including making their former party the largest and winning numerous municipalities, but lamented what he described as an "operation" by the ruling power due to their success. He urged party members not to be angry with former colleagues still in the Republican People's Party (CHP), expressing confidence they would eventually join the New Party, recognizing their shared love for Atatürk and the Republic.

Arslan concluded by emphasizing the party's resilience and commitment to its supporters, highlighting how they secured necessary resources like sound systems and transportation for the event through their own efforts. "There is no hopeless situation, there are hopeless people. We are the ones who have not lost hope," he asserted, rallying attendees with a message of optimism and determination.
