New Spa Resort in Southern Poland to Feature Tropical Pools and 500 Rooms

Kazimierza Wielka, a town in Poland's Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, is set to become home to one of southern Poland's largest spa resorts. The ambitious project, planned on nearly 12 hectares of land near a retention reservoir, aims to create a modern complex featuring glass domes, tropical pools, a SPA zone, and 500 guest rooms.

The development is progressing, with local authorities having recently opened bids from investors interested in the project. The plans involve two plots: a 7-hectare municipal plot and a 4.5-hectare county plot. While a single offer has been submitted for each tender, the potential investors have not yet been publicly disclosed as the documents undergo formal and substantive analysis.

This is not yet a final decision, but it is a very important moment for Kazimierza Wielka, the Kazimierza district, and the entire region.

According to visualizations presented by the starostwo (county office), the resort is envisioned as a contemporary recreational and spa complex. It will include extensive gastronomic facilities and be connected by pathways and green spaces. The design features indoor pools and relaxation areas under glass domes, complemented by outdoor pools and terraces. A significant underground parking facility is also planned, capable of accommodating over a thousand vehicles.

Kazimierza Wielka's starosta, Jan Nowak, expressed enthusiasm for the project, describing it as the creation of a "second city" within Kazimierza Wielka. He anticipates the resort will attract further investments, generate new employment opportunities, and establish a new brand for the region, "Uzdrowisko Kazimierza Wielka." The resort is expected to specialize in treating rheumatic and cardiological diseases, hypertension, and osteoporosis.
