New Taipei City is demonstrating a strong commitment to its youngest residents through innovative childcare initiatives. The Liberty Times highlights the 'New Taipei Loves Children, Home-Based Childcare Together' event, which brought together families, community members, and crucially, foster families. This inclusive approach, featuring engaging activities led by professional childcare providers, aims to seamlessly integrate foster children into the community fabric. By fostering interaction between foster children and their peers, the city seeks to promote their healthy emotional and social development. The participation of foster families, like the 'foster sisters' Li Su-peng and Li Su-hua who have cared for 31 children over the years, underscores the deep dedication within the community.
