Newcastle name 38-year-old Jaissle as new head coach after Howe exit

Newcastle United has appointed Matthias Jaissle as their new head coach, succeeding Eddie Howe. The 38-year-old German, formerly of Saudi club Al-Ahli, brings a track record of success in Austria with Red Bull Salzburg, where he secured consecutive league titles and a cup.

Jaissle, who had no prior top-flight management experience, expressed his honor and excitement about joining the English Premier League club.
