Ngozi Nwosu appeals for ₦30m for surgeries amid health crisis

Veteran Nigerian actress Ngozi Nwosu has made an emotional appeal for financial assistance, urgently seeking 30 million Nigerian naira (approximately $20,000 USD) to undergo three life-saving surgeries. The 62-year-old star, known for her role in the soap opera "Fuji House of Commotion," revealed her plight in a video posted on her Instagram page.

Nwosu disclosed that she has been hospitalized for three weeks and that the required amount is for multiple surgical procedures. "Please, don’t let me die. I know that you people never forsake me. I know that God will always see me through. But I’m begging you, my fans and family, don’t let me die because I am going through a lot, in pain," she pleaded.

This is not the first time Nwosu has faced significant health challenges and sought public support. In 2013, she battled kidney and heart-related issues, receiving N4.5 million from the Lagos State Government. She later traveled to the UK for surgery after individuals donated N2.5 million to cover the remaining N6 million needed for the procedure.
