NIBIRU launches Saint Mary weekend marathon with three days of entertainment

NIBIRU, a burgeoning entertainment destination on the Romanian coast, is set to host an extensive three-day event from August 14 to 16, celebrating "Sea Days" and the "STARDUST" festival. This extended weekend, coinciding with the Saint Mary holiday, promises a packed schedule designed to captivate audiences of all generations.

From 10:00 AM until late at night, NIBIRU will offer a diverse array of attractions. The program includes spectacular air shows, live concerts featuring prominent artists like Delia, Antonia, The Motans, and Maria Dragomiroiu, alongside activities for children such as face painting, puppet theater, and a dedicated amusement park. Gastronomic experiences and sports facilities, including padel and basketball courts, further enhance the offerings.

Andrei Șelaru, known as Selly and the founder of NIBIRU, highlighted the venue's success, noting over 1.6 million visits in its initial 29 days. "We have built NIBIRU for different generations and communities, and this weekend is probably the best example," he stated. The goal is to position NIBIRU as a destination that provides compelling reasons for repeat visits, moving beyond the temporary nature of traditional festivals.

The event also commemorates "Ziua Marinei" (Navy Day) with special maritime-themed activities organized in collaboration with the Ministry of National Defense. These include workshops, rope-pulling contests, and games inspired by life at sea, further enriching the celebratory weekend.

The record of over one million visits in the first 29 days shows us that there is an audience for such a place and, above all, that people return for different experiences. We have built NIBIRU for different generations and communities, and this weekend is probably the best example: you can come in the morning with your child, you can see an air show, you can have a meal, go to a concert, and in the evening you can dance at STARDUST to the music you listened to when you were the age of your child. A festival offers you a few days. A destination must offer you different reasons to return.
