Nick Chou wins Hito Music Awards, nearly cries with emotion; Jolin Tsai snags top female honor

Chou, who also recently received Golden Melody Award nominations for Best Mandarin Male Singer and Best Arrangement, shared his surprise at the nominations. He mentioned that he was asleep when the nominations were announced, similar to how his concert tickets sold out instantly. He admitted to being deeply moved, stating, "I'm very used to waiting, just not giving up and moving forward." He revealed that he cried upon hearing about the nominations, and his mother, Billie, also reacted with intense emotion.

When asked about potentially inviting his mother to the Golden Melody Awards red carpet, Chou playfully suggested that people should anticipate it. Meanwhile, Chang Chen-yue also attended the Hito Pop Music Awards to accept an award. His recent album, "Follow Your Feeling," earned six Golden Melody Award nominations, including Best Mandarin Album and Song of the Year. Chang attributed his success to his wife and two children, noting that he prioritizes family time after getting married and having children. He thanked his wife for her unwavering support, which allowed him to find a comfortable creative process.
