Nicky Jam delivered humanitarian aid on his private jet to earthquake victims in Colombia

Urban music star Nicky Jam personally mobilized his executive jet to deliver emergency supplies to earthquake-affected communities in Quibdó, Colombia. The singer's aircraft transported essential items such as diapers, food, and basic necessities directly to the Chocó department.

Upon arrival, a dedicated logistics team, identifiable by their protective vests, ensured the immediate unloading of the cargo onto the tarmac. This swift action provided much-needed relief to those impacted by the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that struck Colombia on August 10.

Beyond the direct aid delivery, Nicky Jam has joined forces with Grupo Empresarial Argos to launch the "Adopta un Hogar" (Adopt a Home) solidarity campaign. This initiative aims to channel funds toward the repair and reconstruction of collapsed homes in the hardest-hit areas of Chocó, the Coffee Region, and Valle del Cauca.

The partnership has established an initial fund of 13 billion Colombian pesos, with a matching contribution scheme. Both the artist and the corporation pledge to match every peso contributed by citizens or private companies, setting a target capital of 26 billion pesos. Jam has also publicly urged his entertainment industry colleagues to amplify resources for families left homeless.

This humanitarian effort is not an isolated act for the artist. Weeks prior, Jam utilized the same private aircraft to transport medicine, non-perishable food, and pediatric supplies to Venezuela following earthquakes there on June 24. His actions reflect a personal gratitude towards Colombia, a nation that significantly boosted his career between 2007 and 2010, and underscore his ongoing commitment to communities affected by seismic events.
