Nico Yunge describes serious health crisis after dental procedure

Nico Yunge says a dental procedure landed him in intensive care. In a video posted from London, the former Chilean reality TV personality speaks with difficulty and says he needs medication both to wake up and to sleep.

“Who would have imagined that a dental procedure would leave me in the intensive care unit,” Yunge says at the start of the recording. His account then takes a darker turn as he reflects on the possibility that his condition could worsen.

“If something happens to me, because they had to give me adrenaline to wake me up and now morphine, I am happy with the life I have had,” he says. Yunge also thanks the people who have been part of his life and says he does not know what will happen next.

Yunge appeared on Canal 13’s reality show “Perla, tan real como tú,” which aired from 2011 to 2012. He later became a recognizable figure in Chilean entertainment and on social media, largely through a series of controversies.
