Nicușor Dan to host European Council President António Costa at Cotroceni

Romanian President Nicușor Dan will receive European Council President António Costa at Cotroceni Palace on Thursday, Sept. 3, according to the Presidential Administration.

The visit will include a reception in the Hall of Honour, an official photograph, tête-à-tête talks, formal discussions and joint press statements.

Dan also hosted Costa at Cotroceni on the same date last year. Their discussions then focused on European security, Romania’s role on the eastern flank, the Black Sea, hybrid warfare and the SAFE mechanism, as well as the EU budget and global partnerships.
