Nigeria Extends Deadline for National Policing Bill Submissions

The Presidential Working Group on the National Policing Bill has extended the deadline for the submission of memorandums and position papers. This decision comes as part of the ongoing process to refine the proposed legislation aimed at reforming Nigeria's police force.

Initially set to close earlier, the deadline has now been pushed back by eight days. The extension provides stakeholders, including civil society organizations, security experts, and the general public, additional time to contribute their views and proposals on the critical bill.

The Presidential Working Group, established by President Bola Tinubu, is tasked with reviewing and consolidating input for the National Policing Bill.
