The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Sunday, conveying Nigeria's sympathies to the Qatari leadership, the Al Thani family, and the nation.

She affirmed Nigeria's solidarity with Qatar during this period of mourning and offered prayers for strength and comfort to the late Amir's family and the nation.
