Nigeria’s envoy to India presents credentials, seeks stronger trade ties

Saidu Muhammad, Nigeria's High Commissioner to India, formally presented his Letters of Credence to Indian President Smt. Droupadi Murmu on Monday at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. This marks a significant step in reinforcing the diplomatic and economic relationship between the two nations.

During the ceremony, Muhammad conveyed the goodwill of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu to President Murmu. Muhammad underscored Nigeria's high regard for its relationship with India, viewing his appointment as a crucial opportunity to advance Nigeria's national interests.
