Nigerian Actors Explain Why Ailing Star Ogogo Cannot Be Moved From Hospital

Veteran Nigerian actors Jide Kosoko and Yinka Quadri have addressed the public's concern and numerous offers of help for their ailing colleague, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo. They explained the delicate situation surrounding his medical care, emphasizing why he cannot be moved from his current hospital.

Earlier reports revealed that Ogogo's daughters had disclosed his diagnosis of stage-four cancer and appealed for assistance. They stated that the hospital had allegedly refused to treat him, prompting an outpouring of support and recommendations for various medical and traditional treatments from Nigerians.

We have received hundreds of such offers, and we sincerely appreciate every single one. However, we humbly appeal to everyone not to stop praying for Ogogo.

Kosoko and Quadri expressed deep gratitude for the hundreds of offers received, ranging from spiritual to traditional healing methods. However, they stressed that Ogogo's current medical condition makes transferring him from the hospital, where he is receiving care, an extremely challenging, if not impossible, task. They urged those offering help not to be offended by the family's inability to accept every offer.
