Nigerian content creator Peller proposes to partner Jarvis for second time

Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has once again proposed to his partner, Elizabeth Amadou, also known as Jarvis. The romantic gesture took place on Wednesday night at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana, and was accepted by Amadou.

This marks the second proposal between the couple. Hamzat had previously proposed in December 2024, an event that also garnered significant attention on social media. However, confusion arose when Amadou referred to the ring as a "promise ring" and indicated that the timing for marriage was not yet right. She later confirmed their engagement in July 2025 during an appearance on Channels Television's "Rubbin' Minds," expressing surprise at the proposal.

The period between the two proposals was marked by significant challenges for the couple. In December 2025, Hamzat was involved in a car crash during a TikTok livestream, reportedly following a breakup with Amadou. He was subsequently arrested by the Lagos State Police Command but later released. Amadou had visited his mother shortly after, stating their relationship was "over for now."

Despite the previous difficulties, the couple has since reconciled. By May, Hamzat had spoken openly about his future with Amadou, referring to her as family and hinting at undisclosed plans. Amadou had previously shared that Hamzat is the first man she has introduced to her family and discussed the pace of their relationship, attributing it partly to his age. The latest engagement has been met with widespread congratulations from fans across Nigeria and Ghana.
