Nigerian Lawmakers Hail Tinubu's Military Pay Rise, Army Expansion

Lawmakers in Nigeria's House of Representatives have lauded President Bola Tinubu's recent decisions to enhance the welfare and capacity of the nation's armed forces. The chairman of the House Committee on Defence, Hon. Babajimi Benson, described the approval of an upward review of salaries and welfare packages for military personnel as a "major boost" to the country's security architecture.
