Nightclub Kong calls closure of Historic Center venue 'unjust'

Discoteca Kong is challenging the sealing of its premises in Lima's Historic Center, denouncing the measure as "unjust." The nightclub asserts that it has lodged appeals against the closure and currently holds a valid operating license.

The establishment's management expressed their discontent following the action taken by the Municipality of Lima (MML). The MML had ordered the closure of the venue on June 5, citing administrative and safety infractions as the reasons for the decision.

Discoteca Kong maintains that the municipality's actions are unwarranted and is seeking to have the sealing order overturned. The nightclub's legal team is reportedly working on the appeals filed against the MML's decision.
