The Prambanan Jazz Festival is set to return for its 12th year, promising a celebration of joy from July 3-5, 2026, at the iconic Prambanan Temple in Yogyakarta. This year's festival, themed 'Celebrate the Joy,' will feature a star-studded lineup including international artists NIKI, Henry Moodie, Michael Learn to Rock, Xdinary Heroes, and The Rose, alongside Indonesian jazz prodigy Joey Alexander.

Festival CEO Anas Syahrul Alimi expressed his excitement, stating that NIKI's performance is a particular highlight, embodying the festival's theme. The festival aims to blend world-class music with the grandeur of a cultural heritage site, creating an immersive experience. Michael Learns To Rock is expected to bring a different flavor to the temple grounds, reinforcing the festival's role as a unifier across generations. "Prambanan Jazz Festival this year explores new harmonies by transforming the temple courtyard into a large living room. A place for three generations to meet, share warmth, and celebrate joy together," Alimi added.

Xdinary Heroes will perform during their comeback, offering a blend of modern rock energy against the backdrop of the magnificent temple. The Rose's inclusion is a direct response to fan wishes, with Alimi noting their significant stage presence at festivals like Coachella and Lollapalooza. "We see many Black Roses responding to our lineup wishlist. For us, The Rose has a magical stage presence... This is not just a wishlist, it's a call. And today, we answer it on the Prambanan Jazz stage this year," he stated.
