Nilda Müge Şahin Murder: Killer's Full Statement Revealed

The full statement of the confessed killer in the murder of Nilda Müge Şahin has been revealed. Nazir Ilgın admitted to shooting Şahin outside a pharmacy in Istanbul's Şişli district, where she was waiting for her friend to pick up medication.

Ilgın explained that he approached Şahin with the intention of intimidating her with a firearm. He claimed he told her, "I will kill you and myself, but I will not go to prison again." He stated his primary motive was to make her withdraw a complaint that he believed would significantly impact his past legal cases and result in a nine-year prison sentence.

However, Ilgın asserted that his intention was not to kill Şahin, but rather to frighten her into dropping the complaint. He maintained that he did not want to face further imprisonment, indicating a desperate attempt to resolve the legal situation without returning to jail.
