Nizwa to Host Final Qualifiers for Falling Walls Lab 2026 Competition

Nizwa, Oman is set to host the final qualifying round for the prestigious Falling Walls Lab 2026 competition this coming Tuesday. The event, organized by the Research and Innovation Authority in collaboration with the German Falling Walls Foundation, marks a significant opportunity for Omani innovators.

From an initial pool of 158 participants, twenty finalists have emerged. These emerging talents will present their groundbreaking research projects and innovative ideas in concise three-minute presentations. A distinguished judging panel, composed of leading experts, academics, and business leaders, will evaluate their pitches.

The ultimate goal of these qualifiers is to select the winning projects that will proudly represent the Sultanate of Oman at the global finals. This international event is scheduled to take place in Berlin, Germany, from November 5 to 9.
