NNPC aims to build energy ecosystem for Africa

Nigeria's National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) is transforming from a traditional oil and gas producer into an "ecosystem builder," according to Group Chief Executive Officer Bayo Ojulari. The company aims to connect capital, technology, policy, and talent to foster sustainable energy development within Nigeria and across the African continent.

Ojulari highlighted this vision during the 2026 Nigeria Oil and Gas Energy Week, a key conference for industry stakeholders. NNPC Ltd. used the event to showcase its strategy for strengthening partnerships and advancing the sector. The company's transition into a commercially oriented entity under the Petroleum Industry Act has spurred its pursuit of strategic alliances and operational efficiency.
