No Advanced Level Exam Papers Leaked, Commissioner Assures Candidates Amidst Incident

Despite reports of six packets containing physics papers being found in a ballot box at an Ambalangoda exam center, the Examinations Commissioner General has issued a strong assurance that no advanced level exam papers have been compromised. A.K.S. Indika Kumari Liyanage stated that the sealed packets were not opened and no papers were released from any coordination center.

As no packet of advanced level question papers has been opened or released from any coordination center, all examination candidates are kindly informed not to be alarmed by false information and to face the examination today (14) according to the scheduled timetable.

She urged all candidates to disregard any false information and to proceed with their examinations as per the scheduled timetable. The Commissioner General emphasized that the integrity of the examination process remains intact and that all papers are secure.

Liyanage confirmed that exams will continue at all designated centers according to the planned schedule. She reiterated the call for all candidates to arrive at their respective examination centers on time and participate in the exams without undue concern.
