No options: 'Banga' crushed the faltering 'Žalgiris'

Banga secured a decisive 3-0 victory over Žalgiris in a Lithuanian football league encounter, handing the latter another setback in their campaign. The home team opened the scoring in the 9th minute when Aaron Olugbogi capitalized on a defensive error by Žalgiris, firing a powerful shot past goalkeeper Vincent Šarkauskas.

Midway through the first half, Banga had an opportunity to double their lead. A pass from A. Olugbogi found Rokas Filipavičius, but his shot was blocked by Bryanas Texeira. After the break, Žalgiris suffered another blow in the 54th minute when Rokas Filipavičius scored his second consecutive goal, assisted by Misaki Sato.

The teams exchanged further attempts on goal. Stanislavas Bilenkis and Deividas Šešplaukis tested Banga's defense, while Misaki Sato, who had provided an assist earlier, also made attempts for Banga.
