Norris Claims Dutch Grand Prix Victory, Calls It One of His Best

Lando Norris celebrated a hard-fought victory at the Dutch Grand Prix, his second consecutive win in Formula One. Starting from pole position, the McLaren driver navigated a challenging race at Zandvoort, ultimately securing the top spot.

"It has been a tough race," Norris admitted in his post-race comments. "Yesterday I said we would try to put on a great show. It was a good race, well fought and probably one of my best victories. The pace was very strong and I managed everything incredibly well, so I'm happy to have won this last race here in Zandvoort."

The British driver pinpointed a critical overtaking maneuver as decisive. "I knew I wasn't going to have many opportunities and the more laps I spent behind, the fewer opportunities I would have," he explained. "I saw Lewis defending and I knew that was my moment. I changed the brake balance a bit and knew it was going to be at the braking point, and that won me the race. I played well, I knew what I had to do, I had only one chance and I squeezed it."

When asked about McLaren's significant improvement and his potential to contend for a second world championship, Norris urged caution. "It sounds boring, but race by race, it's the truth, I can't think that far ahead," he stated. "Now we have a small break after two good weekends and we have to reset, learn everything we can, and there are still many things we can and must improve if we want to fight for the championship."
