North Sulawesi MSMEs Leverage Direct Call Scheme for Successful Coconut Charcoal Exports to China

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in North Sulawesi are celebrating a significant export milestone, successfully shipping coconut shell charcoal to China. This achievement was made possible through the implementation of a 'direct call' scheme, a collaborative initiative designed to streamline international trade processes.

The successful export is a testament to the effective synergy between various stakeholders. The Provincial Government of North Sulawesi, Customs, Bank Indonesia, and private business actors worked in unison to establish and promote the direct call service between Bitung and China. This coordinated approach has begun to yield tangible results, opening new avenues for local products in the global market.

The direct call service aims to simplify and expedite the logistical and administrative procedures involved in exporting goods.
