Fredrik Aursnes, who played right-back against France and delivered a strong performance, is a leading candidate to start in Ryerson's place. Solbakken praised Aursnes's play, noting he was "brilliant." Another option is Marcus Holmgren Pedersen, who replaced Ryerson earlier in the tournament and scored a goal against Senegal. Solbakken expressed confidence in both players' abilities to step up.
