Norway's Crown Prince Haakon becomes King Haakon VIII

Norway has a new monarch, King Haakon VIII, who ascended to the throne at age 53 after the death of his father, King Harald V. The new king adopted the motto "All for Norway," a phrase with historical ties to his great-grandfather, signaling his commitment to the nation.
