Norwegian Influencer Stranded Abroad After World Cup Flight Chaos

Norwegian training influencer Kasper Kvello described himself as a "nervous wreck" after a chaotic travel experience threatened his World Cup journey. Kvello, 29, spent approximately $5,300 on round-trip economy tickets to Dallas, where Norway is set to play Ivory Coast in the Round of 16.

His travel plans hit a major snag when his Lufthansa flight from Oslo to Frankfurt was significantly delayed due to challenging weather conditions. The delay meant that his connecting flight to Dallas departed just as Kvello was landing in Frankfurt. He is now stranded in Germany, scrambling to find an alternative flight.

Kvello explained that he had not yet received a new boarding pass and needed to speak with Lufthansa staff immediately upon arrival in Frankfurt. He expressed urgency, stating, "I have to get there today, otherwise it's ruined." The total cost for his trip, including accommodation and a match ticket, is close to $6,400.
