Norwegian Royal Couple to Complete Municipal Tour in Siljan and Nissedal

King Harald and Queen Sonja are set to complete their extensive tour of Norway with visits to Siljan and Nissedal in late October. These upcoming stops mark the final municipalities in the country to receive an official visit from the royal couple.

The royal visits have been a significant part of the King and Queen's work, providing them opportunities to connect with communities across the nation, from bustling cities to remote villages. The upcoming visits to Telemark are anticipated as a chance to highlight the unique characteristics of these areas.

"We are very much looking forward to welcoming the royal couple to Telemark," said Trond Rønningen, the state administrator for Vestfold and Telemark. "This is a wonderful occasion to showcase two municipalities with strong local communities, active volunteerism, and engaged business and cultural life."

Upon concluding their tours of Siljan and Nissedal, King Harald and Queen Sonja, or one of them individually, will have officially visited all 357 municipalities in Norway. This achievement underscores the royal family's commitment to engaging with citizens throughout the country.
