Hana Financial Group signed an agreement with the Small Business Market Promotion Corporation and the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprises to support price stabilization through its “Good Eggs for Neighborhood Supermarkets” project. The project will select 20 poultry farms, reduce intermediary distribution margins and supply about 120,000 trays of eggs to roughly 4,000 supermarkets nationwide.

The Korea Enterprises Federation will hold a free seminar on socially isolated young people on Sept. 14 at the FKI Tower in Seoul. The event will discuss cooperation between the public and private sectors to support young people who are isolated or withdrawn.

The Ministry of the Interior and Safety is accepting entries through Oct. 8 for a 2026 safety education video contest. Topics include pedestrian safety for older people, driving rules in senior protection zones, prevention of crashes involving older drivers and everyday safety practices.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport will accept entries through Oct. 13 for a contest on preventing falls at construction sites. Categories include short-form videos on safety rules, policy ideas and examples of effective prevention measures.

The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education will hold a bilingual festival on Sept. 7 at its office in Yongsan. Eighteen elementary pupils and 13 middle and high school students selected through preliminary rounds will speak in Korean and their parents’ native languages about their experiences, dreams, families and cultures.
