NPP MPs Undergo Advanced Parliamentary Training in UK

Members of Ghana's New Patriotic Party (NPP) are currently undergoing intensive parliamentary training in the United Kingdom. The program, titled "Mastering Parliamentary Excellence," is designed to equip NPP legislators with advanced skills crucial for effective representation and governance.

This marks the third cohort of NPP lawmakers to benefit from such capacity-building initiatives abroad, following similar sessions held in the UK and Canada. The training curriculum emphasizes practical skills, including sharpening legislative performance, improving policy analysis, strengthening engagement with constituents, and deepening party organization. The NPP views this as a demonstration of its commitment to continuous learning and institutional growth.

Key figures in the NPP's parliamentary leadership, such as Minority Leader Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin and Deputy Minority Leader Patricia Appiagyei, have been instrumental in driving this initiative. National party organizers, including Henry Nana Boakye (National Organizer) and Dr. Annie Tsibo-Darko (Deputy General Secretary), are also present, underscoring the party's dedication to enhancing the capabilities of its elected officials.
