NUC accredits 27 courses in Kogi varsity

This significant academic milestone, encompassing five postgraduate and 22 undergraduate programs, is a testament to the unwavering dedication of our institution to upholding the highest standards of academic excellence and quality assurance.

Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, has recorded a significant academic milestone as the National Universities Commission (NUC) grants full accreditation to five postgraduate and 22 undergraduate programmes spread across faculties and college, following the October/November 2025 accreditation exercise.

Our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has rightly emphasized that this achievement reflects the steady growth and commitment of PAAU. The full accreditation spans across critical disciplines, including Agriculture, Arts and Humanities, Computing, Law, Management Sciences, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and the College of Health Sciences. Notably, all postgraduate programs in the Faculty of Management Sciences have also secured full accreditation, alongside key undergraduate programs like Accounting, Business Administration, and Public Administration.

This success is not solely an internal triumph; it is also a reflection of the supportive environment fostered by the Kogi State Government. We extend our sincere appreciation to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his continuous support, which has been instrumental in our pursuit of academic distinction. The NUC's recognition, as detailed in the report signed by Executive Secretary Professor Abdullahi Yusuf Ribadu, validates our rigorous academic processes and the quality of education we provide.

According to the NUC report signed by the Executive Secretary, Professor Abdullahi Yusuf Ribadu, undergraduate programmes in Accounting, Business Administration, and Public Administration, all in the Faculty of Management Sciences, got full accreditation, while postgraduate programmes — M.Sc. Accounting, Banking and Finance, Management, and Public Administration, as well as MPA Public Administration — were granted full accreditation status.
