NYSC Postpones Orientation Camp Opening in Enugu, Osun by One Week Due to Renovations

The NYSC management, through a statement by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, announced a one-week postponement for these two states. The reason cited is the ongoing extensive renovation of the camps, a crucial undertaking by the state governments to ensure adequate facilities. While PCMs in 34 other states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are set to begin their orientation on April 22, 2026, those in Enugu and Osun will start on April 28, 2026. This slight but important delay is a practical measure to accommodate the renovation works, ensuring that the camps are fully prepared to host the new corps members. Prospective corps members deployed to Enugu and Osun States are to note that the orientation exercise for these states will commence on Tuesday, 28th April 2026, and end on Monday, 18th May 2026; one week after commencement in the other 34 states and the FCT.
