NYSC sets dates and nine centres for foreign-trained graduates’ physical verification

The National Youth Service Corps has scheduled physical verification for foreign-trained Nigerian graduates taking part in the 2026 Batch C Stream I service year.

The exercise will run from Tuesday, September 8, to Saturday, September 12, 2026, for prospective corps members whose credentials and travel documents still require physical verification. The NYSC instructed applicants to attend only at the date, time and venue shown on their verification slips.

Verification centres will operate at NYSC facilities or designated military locations in Enugu, Bauchi, Abuja, Kano, Lagos, Osogbo, Port Harcourt, Sokoto and Yola. Applicants must bring the original versions of the credentials and travel documents submitted, or expected to be submitted, during online registration.

Medical graduates must also provide original licences, registration certificates and other documents issued by their professional bodies. The NYSC further instructed applicants to submit original Evaluation Letters from the Federal Ministry of Education at its headquarters in Abuja and upload acknowledged copies online.

The scheme warned that it will deploy, exempt or exclude only prospective corps members who appear in person with their documents and complete verification and clearance.
