Oaxaca Warriors even playoff series with decisive Game 2 win over Diablos Rojos

The Guerreros de Oaxaca evened their playoff series against the Diablos Rojos with a decisive 6-1 victory in Game 2 of the Mexican Baseball League. Unlike previous games where the Diablos Rojos threatened comebacks, Oaxaca maintained control throughout the match at the Alfredo Harp Helú stadium.

Oaxaca's offense struck early, scoring their first run in the initial inning after a single by Yonathan Daza brought Luis Barrera home. The team extended their lead in the fifth inning with a double from Leonel Valera scoring Alexis Amarista, followed by another run from a wild pitch and a two-run home run by Ricardo Valenzuela. The Diablos Rojos' starting pitcher, Ricardo Pinto, struggled, leaving the game after allowing multiple runs.

The Guerreros' pitching staff, with contributions from James Kaprielian and Enderson Franco, effectively shut down the Diablos Rojos' offense, preventing them from being shut out at home for the first time in the postseason. The series now moves to the Yu'Va stadium for Game 3, where the reigning champions will attempt to regain the advantage.
