Authorities have apprehended Md Selim, widely known as Chua Selim, a figure described as a notorious drug dealer, from the Geneva Camp in Dhaka's Mohammadpur area. The arrest was carried out by a team from Rab-2, a unit of the Rapid Action Battalion.

Rab officials confirmed that Selim faces accusations in a significant number of cases, totaling at least 36. These charges reportedly include serious offenses such as murder, drug trafficking, illegal possession of arms, and violations under the Special Powers Act. His apprehension marks a notable development in the ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crime in the capital.
