Prime Minister Tarique Rahman conducted a hands-on inspection of civic services across areas managed by the Dhaka North City Corporation, spending over two and a half hours examining waste management, drainage, greening, and road conditions. The prime minister expressed dissatisfaction with several issues and issued directives for prompt and effective corrective measures.

During the inspection, Rahman visited numerous locations, including ECB Chattar, Mirpur DOHS, Diabari, various Uttara sectors, Airport Road, Farmgate, and Mohammadpur. He personally drove through many parts of the city, observing the ground situation firsthand. This personal involvement underscores his commitment to improving urban living conditions.

According to Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony, Rahman's inspection was driven by his stated desire to make Dhaka a cleaner city. The prime minister met with state ministers and city administrators before embarking on the tour, emphasizing the importance of coordinated efforts to address the identified problems.

The prime minister was accompanied by State Minister for Local Government Mir Shahe Alam, DNCC Administrator Md Safiqul Islam, and other key officials. Their presence highlighted the collaborative approach being taken to tackle the challenges of urban management and service delivery in the capital.
