President Donald Trump announced Saturday that the United States and Israel have agreed to pause any new strikes on Iran, contingent on a swift resolution to the ongoing conflict.

The USA is locked and loaded and ready to go against the Islamic Republic of Iran, at levels of Military Terror, Strength, and Power not seen since World War II.

Fears of escalation had grown after Trump threatened to strike Iran "very hard," with reports suggesting renewed heavy attacks, possibly targeting energy infrastructure, were being considered.

Trump stated on his Truth Social platform that the U.S. was "locked and loaded" for action against Iran at unprecedented levels. However, he indicated a change of plans following a request from Iran and other Middle Eastern countries to hold fire.

Despite this, we have just been asked by Iran, and other Middle Eastern Countries, to hold off any attack.

"Based on this request, I have agreed, for the future benefit of the WORLD and, likewise, the survival of a successful and prosperous Iran, to cancel the attack, subject to being able to rapidly make a DEAL," Trump said. He specified that the deal must involve the "Immediate, Complete and Total OPENING OF THE HORMUZ STRAIT, and an end to Iran's nuclear threat." Israel, he added, joins him in this commitment.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman reportedly called Trump on Saturday to express concerns about the strike plans and urged de-escalation, according to unnamed U.S. officials cited by Axios.
