A leader of the Jubo Dal, the youth wing of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, was brutally murdered in broad daylight in Jashore, Bangladesh. Rubel Hossain, 38, the joint general secretary of the Bandabila union unit Jubo Dal in Bagharpara upazila, was hacked to death near Khajura Filling Station. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on a recent day, shocking local residents.

According to police and local sources, the alleged attacker, identified as Rabbi from the same area, repeatedly assaulted Rubel with a sharp weapon. The attack left Rubel with critical injuries, and the assailant fled the scene. Locals who witnessed the aftermath rescued Rubel and rushed him to Jashore General Hospital. The physician on duty declared him dead upon arrival. His body was subsequently sent to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.

An investigation is underway to determine the motive behind the killing. Multiple police teams are conducting drives to arrest the prime suspect, Rabbi.

Tamal Hossain, the Jashore district Jubo Dal President, demanded a thorough investigation into the killing and exemplary punishment for those responsible. Police have visited the crime scene and are actively investigating the motive behind the murder. Officer-in-Charge Shah Jalal Alam of Bagharpara Police Station confirmed that multiple police teams are conducting operations to apprehend the prime suspect, Rabbi.
