Students who missed crucial Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams due to adverse weather will have a second chance. The Dhaka Education Board announced that makeup exams for Physics First Paper, Accounting First Paper, and Logic First Paper will be held on August 24. These exams were originally scheduled for July 13 but were postponed because of severe weather conditions. The examinations will commence at 10:00 a.m. at Begum Badrunnessa Government Girls’ College in Bakshibazar. A notice signed by Prof Jesmin Taslima Banu, controller of examinations for the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, detailed the arrangements. Only students who had already registered at their respective centers for these specific missed papers will be permitted to sit for the exams. They are instructed to report to the examination center by 9:30 a.m. on August 24, allowing ample time before the exams begin.
