Oborevwori donates bus to Delta NUJ

Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has donated a brand-new Toyota Hiace bus to the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, to bolster the union's operations. The gesture, presented in Asaba by the governor's Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, signifies the cordial relationship between the state government and the local press.

Ahon stated that the bus is intended for the NUJ council's exclusive use, expressing Governor Oborevwori's hope that it will further enhance cooperation between the government and the media. "This bus donation is to you for the use of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Delta State Council. This gesture is as a result of the good relationship that we have had over the years," Ahon remarked.

Receiving the vehicle, Delta State NUJ Chairman Churchill Oyowe expressed profound gratitude, describing the donation as a fulfillment of the governor's promise. "We are most grateful. He added that the modern bus would significantly improve the council's activities and further cement the working relationship with the state administration.
