Ogunshola Warriors have retained the PUNCH Summer Week football title, clinching their second consecutive championship after a dramatic 5-4 penalty shootout victory over Aboderin Blazers. The thrilling final, held in Magboro, Ogun State, saw the defending champions overcome an early deficit before prevailing in the tense shootout.

Aboderin Blazers started strongly, taking a 2-0 lead with goals from Kehinde Fawzi and Okamgba Justice. However, Ogunshola Warriors responded swiftly, with Ekugbe Gilbert pulling one back before Adekunle Sulaiman leveled the score. Aboderin regained the lead through Ojo, ending the first half 3-2. The Warriors came back after the break, with Gilbert scoring his second goal to make it 3-3, a scoreline that held through regulation time.

The penalty shootout was equally dramatic. After successful conversions from both sides, including a retake for Sulaiman, Aboderin Blazers' Tosin missed, and Ojo's penalty was saved, leaving the shootout tied. The goalkeepers then stepped up, with Isaac converting for Aboderin, but Chris's effort for Ogunshola Warriors was saved, ultimately sealing the 5-4 victory for the champions. Adeyeye Titans secured third place by defeating Emuwa Eagles 8-3.
