OIB launches Gardens Idaman worth RM163.8 million in Rawang

Oriental Interest Berhad (OIB) has officially launched Gardens Idaman, a new affordable housing project in Rawang marketed under the Selangor Affordable Housing Program. With a gross development value (GDV) of RM163.8 million, the development aims to expand access to quality, affordable housing across the state.

William Lew, General Manager of Myra Essential Business Unit at OIB's Residential Property Division, highlighted the significance of the Selangor Affordable Housing Program in making homeownership more attainable for first-time buyers. He stated that OIB's role extends beyond meeting program requirements to creating added value for homeowners and the future community.

Spanning 4.54 hectares, Gardens Idaman will feature 616 partially furnished apartment units, each measuring 1,002 square feet with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Priced between RM250,000 and RM270,000, the leasehold development is slated for completion in 2030. It is designed as a gated and guarded community, catering to first-time homebuyers and families seeking more spacious living.

Residents will benefit from amenities including a Central Park with a jogging track, outdoor gymnasium, children's playground, futsal and pickleball courts, a multipurpose hall, kindergarten, and surau. OIB also highlighted its commitment to sustainability, with Gardens Idaman and another upcoming development, Saujana Idaman in Dengkil, receiving Provisional GreenRE Bronze certification. This recognition underscores OIB's dedication to sustainable and environmentally responsible development practices.
