Okonkwo’s Charlton deliver blow to Hammers with London derby triumph

Charlton continued their flawless start to the Championship season with a hard-fought 2-1 victory against West Ham in a London derby. The win intensifies the pressure on West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

Charlton established a commanding 2-0 lead through goals from Lloyd Jones and Tyreece Campbell. West Ham managed to pull one back on their debut through Joel Piroe, on loan from Leeds.
