Olubadan, Ogiyan of Ejigbo, Ataoja of Osogbo Land Begin Commissioning of Landmark Projects by Osun State Govt

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke is set to commission a series of significant infrastructure projects, marking a milestone for his administration's development agenda. The Imole Campaign Council announced a two-day event beginning with the unveiling of the five-span Lameco overhead bridge on Wednesday.

His Imperial Majesty Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadan land, will perform the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Lameco bridge. The event will also be attended by the Ataoja of Osogboland, HRM Oba Jimoh Adetunji Olanipekun, and other key stakeholders. This new bridge is designed to tackle persistent traffic congestion in the area, enhance connectivity, and stimulate economic growth within the Osun State capital.

We must note that these events will be a continuous one, as several other completed projects by the Governor Ademola Adeleke-led government will soon be commissioned for the benefit of the people.

The following day, Thursday, will see the commissioning of two crucial road projects in Ejigbo: the 12-kilometer Ejigbo-Ilawo-Iwo Road (first phase) and the six-kilometer Ejigbo-Isoko-Aye Road (first phase). The Ogiyan of Ejigbo, HRM Oba Omowonuola Oyeyode, will lead the ceremony. These projects are expected to significantly improve transportation links between Ejigbo and its neighboring towns.

Senator Kamorudeen Oyewumi, Director-General of the Imole Campaign Council, emphasized that these inaugurations are part of ongoing efforts by the Adeleke-led government to strengthen local economies through improved road networks. He urged the public to take ownership of the projects and cooperate with the government to ensure their long-term sustainability.
