Oluremi Tinubu celebrates Shettima on his 60th birthday

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has celebrated Vice President Kashim Shettima’s 60th birthday, praising his record of public service and commitment to Nigeria.

In a message posted on her X handle on Wednesday, Tinubu joined Shettima’s wife, Hajia Nana Shettima, along with his family and friends, in marking what she called his “Diamond Jubilee.”

She described Shettima as a leader who had shown strength, loyalty, commitment and love for Nigeria as vice president. She also highlighted his previous roles as governor of Borno State and senator, as well as his career in banking.

“On this occasion of your Diamond Jubilee, I join your wife, Her Excellency Hajia Nana Shettima, family and friends in celebrating you. As Vice President of our beloved nation, you have exemplified strength, loyalty, commitment and love for country. I celebrate your achievements as former Governor of Borno State, a former distinguished Senator and an accomplished Banker,” she said.

Tinubu prayed that Almighty Allah would grant Shettima good health, peace, joy and happiness, and wished him continued blessings as he marked the milestone.
