Olympiacos: New Volleyball Transfer with Spencer

Greek sports club Olympiacos is actively strengthening its men's volleyball team for the upcoming 2026/27 season with the acquisition of Elder Spencer. The club announced the signing of the middle blocker from Cape Verde, adding him to the Piraeus-based team's roster.

Spencer, a left-handed player born on October 6, 1992, stands at 2.00 meters tall. He is recognized for his athleticism, blocking ability, and serving prowess. He comes off a strong season with Spanish club Las Palmas, where he contributed to their league championship win. In 76 sets, Spencer scored 219 points, with 148 successful attacks (66% efficiency), 20 aces, and 51 blocks. He also reached the quarterfinals of the CEV Champions League with impressive performances.

Prior to his stint in Spain, Spencer played for Saint-Nazaire in France for four seasons (2021-25), winning a French championship and earning recognition as the team's best player. He was twice named the best attacker in the French league and once the best blocker and best middle blocker.
