Olympic Safi announces roadmap for team and club development

Moroccan football club Olympic Safi has unveiled a dual-track roadmap designed to bolster its first team and overhaul its organizational structure.

The club's management and its associated sports company detailed plans to retain key players, forming the core of the first team. The remaining squad positions will be filled under the guidance of a new technical staff, implementing a project focused on building a competitive team capable of restoring Olympic Safi to its former standing.

Training is scheduled to commence on Monday, August 3rd, in Safi. Initially, a local technical staff will lead sessions for no more than 72 hours. This period will precede the arrival of a new head coach, who will be responsible for the team's pre-season preparations and managing player acquisitions.

The club's leadership is actively in contact with qualified technical personnel to select a new coach who aligns with the aspirations of the fans and the club's objectives, particularly the goal of achieving promotion. Simultaneously, Olympic Safi is addressing its structural framework. The club held a meeting with representatives from the Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP) in preparation for the commencement of work by a consulting firm. This firm will conduct a comprehensive diagnostic study of the association and its sports company to develop an integrated plan for a modern and sustainable club structure.

Furthermore, Olympic Safi is continuing its collaboration with the company managing the training center. The aim is to enhance grassroots development, improve the quality of training, and leverage the talent pool within the city of Safi.
