Oman Racing secures Monza podium in dramatic GT World Challenge Europe race

Oman Racing by Century Motorsport celebrated a triumphant return to the podium at Monza, securing a hard-fought third place in the Bronze Cup during the second round of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. This marks the team's first podium finish of the 2026 season, achieved through a combination of driver skill, strategic brilliance, and resilience in a dramatic race.

Piloting the No.42 BMW M4 GT3 EVO, drivers Ahmad Al Harthy, Calan Williams, and Javier Sagrera demonstrated exceptional performance. Starting from eighth in the Bronze Cup and 47th overall, they skillfully navigated a race marked by numerous incidents and challenging conditions, including high temperatures nearing 32 degrees Celsius.

The race began with immediate chaos, triggering a Safety Car period. Calan Williams expertly maneuvered through the initial collisions, gaining significant ground and placing the car in a strong position. Subsequent stints by Al Harthy and Sagrera saw the team consistently climb through the field, battling rivals and capitalizing on strategic pit stops.

Despite multiple Full Course Yellow periods and intense competition, the team maintained focus and executed their strategy flawlessly. Their climb through the ranks culminated in a remarkable 13th place overall and a well-deserved third in the Bronze Cup, showcasing the team's determination and capability on one of motorsport's legendary tracks.
