Oman to participate in Saba Saba Exhibition 2026 in Tanzania

The Sultanate of Oman is set to make a significant presence at the 50th Saba Saba Exhibition in Tanzania, scheduled from June 28 to July 3, 2026. This participation is a strategic move to bolster the global reach of Omani products and attract foreign investment into the Sultanate.

Khalid Sulaiman Al Salhi, Director General of Marketing and Commercial Affairs for Madayn, highlighted that the exhibition is a prime opportunity to access East African markets. A pavilion featuring 24 Omani companies from the industrial, commercial, and service sectors will introduce the nation's industrial advancements, focusing on quality and packaging.

Al Salhi emphasized that the event serves as a crucial platform for boosting exports and localizing investments. The Supervisory Team for the Promotion of Omani Products (OPEX), a collaboration between Madayn, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the SMEs Development Authority, orchestrates these international participations. Their objective is to enhance Omani exports, support small and medium enterprises, and attract investment to the manufacturing sector, thereby increasing trade volume and solidifying Oman's role as a key industrial and commercial center.
